Many men end up marrying a woman because she has become pregnant.
They want to do the right thing, they did enjoy making the baby, and maybe it is time to settle down.
They may also feel that the child is the most important thing now. That is another article.

If you are a man in this position, you need to do some very careful thinking and take an honest and responsible look at your relationship with your woman.

You need to make sure that you are doing is right for you, and that you are not just along for the ride. You and your partner do have responsibilities and some decisions to make and if the child is born, then you will be responsible for the next 18 years.

Many women get pregnant for there own reasons. That has little to do with you.

A survey done in 2004 by a UK magazine asked 5,000 women average age 38, about there behaviours and attitudes towards relationships and truth.

• Half admitted that they would not tell there partner that it was not his baby, if she wanted to stay with him.
  
  
• 42% of the women said that they would lie about contraception in order to get pregnant.

• 19% of the women who had long-term partners have been unfaithful.
  
  
• 30% of the women asked said they had had an affair with a married man.
