Betrayal Betrayed and Lied To

Have you suffered betrayal? Been betrayed and lied to or cheated on you? And are you hurting?

When someone we trust or loves betrays us it can be a very painful time and such feelings as anger are normal. You may also suffer from feelings of rejection, stomach problems, sleepless nights and lots of crying. Both sexes go through this.

The act of trusting someone a lover or even a business partner.

What does trust mean.
Well the dictionary says.
” To have faith or confidence; to place reliance : to confide”

So it seams that you have placed the relationship in a safe little box and can stop thinking about it and you are certain about it. So you can stop paying attention to it.

Let me give you a different angle to consider.
If you break my trust and you do something that will possibly effect me.
I got it wrong it’s my fault because I stopped paying attention to the relationship made assumptions about you and chose to believe they were true.

Often the anger people experience is with them selves and due to a lack of maturity they project the anger on the other. It is not the others fault if they are true to their nature.

Understanding human nature and learning about how people tick will remove many opportunities for others to cause you problems in your future. I have friends who I would ask to look after my property and others I would not. I know there nature and will avoid placing them in a situation were they may betray me.

What you can do.
The real cool thing about being betrayed or having someone lie to you is your part in the situation you are in. Their is much you can do to create certainty in a relationship although it does take knowledge and understanding on your part and setting up the relationship from the start in a way that supports and gives you and the other person what you both need.

There are ways for you to grow in understanding about human nature and predict how people will react in most situations and this begins with self understanding and knowledge.
